I am beyond excited to discuss my next novel with you, a time travel thriller and romance defying the boundaries of modern storytelling: The Sunflower Protocol.
After a few hard months studying, rebranding, brainstorming, and reflecting… Here I am, with a new project and a brand new website!
As mentioned in my prior roadmap, Romance has always been a genre I wanted to explore, and, frankly, one I genuinely love.
But I wanted to offer a different experience than what was displayed in the mainstream showcases: a high-octane time travel thriller with a more grounded and sensible view on what makes love powerful and inspiring.
So, as I started brainstorming, I thought, Loving meets Inception meets Dark Matter.
I know, I know, it’s a bit cliche as a marketing pitch. But this was my starting point.
What is the Sunflower Protocol?
Amid the fractured boundaries of a distant world where time and space dance to an otherworldly tune, a mysterious man's arrival on the Namibian coast shatters the fragile equilibrium of a sheltered realm.
Picked up by women kings, ruthless executioners bound to an eternal war, his presence ignites a spark of hope and chaos.
Haunted by fragmented memories, the man speaks of a life left behind, of a world that once was: he claims that one of the women who now hold sway over his fate is an iteration of his long-lost wife.
With each revelation, the mystery deepens, and as destinies entwine, the truth of the man's claim hangs in the balance – a truth that could reshape this wounded world or plunge it into everlasting chaos.
Indeed.
A man washes ashore on foreign lands fractured by a space-time continuum breach. He claims he belongs to another timeline, another world. He reunites with his supposed wife, the territory’s overseer, a woman king who has no recollection of him. Together, they embark on a journey to heal her world and understand their rightful place in it.
Without further spoiling the plot (there are many twists and turns), I can say that I am immensely proud of this project, especially as an independent author operating on limited resources and coverage.
It is a labor of love that has been polished, refined and packaged with the greatest care, and I hope you enjoy it.
