America is a Zoo was a dream, a mission, the cornerstone of a newfound maturity. It is the fruit of a passionate labor.
My intent here was to get away from polarizing discussions with counterproductive outcomes (gender wars, race wars, political and ideological labels) to shift towards more essential and needed debates.
What is truly at the core of most of our dysfunctional behaviors as a society? How do we go beyond lip service, offering concrete solutions? Are we responsible as individuals? Do we share the failures of our government?
There is no black or white, but shades of greys stretching the very boundaries of our reality.
America is a Zoo is the beginning of an answer. Behind the action scenes, the shady characters, the intricate world-building lays a fundamental question:
Do we even know we’re partaking in this circus?
