A major breakthrough in my creative writing career (?)

Transformation brings value, which brings breakthroughs.

Hey.

A few weeks ago, I mentioned how I was interested in showcasing my versatility as a writer while going against the established norm by producing works in various genres.

Right.

Well, my next novel is now ready to ship. I will soon reveal the title and cover art (which I am really excited about and you’ll see why!) to my mailing list subscribers (who will also get the opportunity to receive a free digital copy with their purchase). You can subscribe to my newsletter here.

Anyway. This title is completely different from my prior works (a science fiction trilogy with mythical inclinations). It is a political satire, a thriller whose contemporary tone may hit (a bit too) close to home.

The pacing is different, the approach, the dialogues, speech patterns, world-building and characterization are a complete 180 from what I have been known for until now.

From the visuals to the title and the political angle of the piece, it is the crossing of a foreign threshold.

Diversifying was never a save-the-sinking-boat strategy. It was never motivated by financial gains. I’ve always wanted to be a bit different and offer my readers a wider variety of stories. It’s something I mentioned in prior conversations, as early as 2009. So, nothing new here.

But, this is it. I now see the fruits of this labor of love, a finished product, a result of years studying and practicing. This standalone novel is also a testimony to my newfound maturity as a writer, as a man.

And when executed properly, transformation brings value, which brings breakthroughs. This next novel is the breakthrough. I can sense it.

A few days ago, a business call from a reputable publicist based in Boston, MA provided an indication that something was going to shake. And it did.

As of today, I can confirm that this next novel will launch in a joint effort between Process Protocol, my own imprint, and this new partner of ours.

Coming from NYC, I am thrilled to work with this firm, which has coverage in London, Boston, New York City, LA and Chicago.

I will provide further details on what that entails soon. Expect a Spring 2023 release. YES, I SAID IT.

Now, me investing more and more in my art with every new project is definitely a sign that my career is burgeoning (or that I’m insane and out of touch with reality), but I cannot reach the promised land, the needed milestones without your support, regardless of how many hours I sacrifice away from my family, or how much I spend with limited resources.

I hope more of you will join us in this journey of discovery that began a few years ago, as the marathon continues…
